A fresh start

Hey friends!

I'll make this first post short and sweet. I had moved away from blogging after getting hit with chronic illness a few years ago, and I just found it too challenging to keep up with life in general, and having an online presence to share what ever artwork I create when my brain allows it.

Living with an invisible chronic illness doesn't mean that everything is honkey-dory. It may be invisible but it can be devastating inside. The basic tasks that people do for daily living, or daily 'existing', take a lot of energy that a chronic illness sufferer can't afford. We must adapt and find ways to attain the results we are after.

We live with a lot of stress, frustration at our severe limitations... I find that it's absolutely critical to find ways to do crafts and relax. Focus on something else to help forget the pain, nausea, fatigue, etc.

I'm not able to design or craft very often, but when I'm having a "good" day, the joy crafting brings me is unmeasurable!

We are allowed to find joy, and do fun things, despite our suffering.

My hope is that you'll find a kindred spirit in me, and try to add more joyous moments in your chronic illness life also.
